I recently became aware of a new (at least I think it’s new) magazine called bp Magazine that focuses specifically on bipolar disorder. Although the magazine carries some information on the diagnosis and treatment of bipolar disorder, its primary mission is “to convey the personal stories of challenge and success that each person who lives with bipolar disorder faces. In doing so, our goal is to promote hope and harmony for bipolar individuals and the ones who love them.”

Joe-Thanks for the link! The magazine is wonderful. Thanks for keeping up with the site. Its helped me a lot.
Self-Advocacy
Having pursued a life-time of normality I have reached a pinnacle of awareness.
It is thoroughness of strength at a young age to experience abuse and meental instability that I am recovering in areas of maturity.
Without a stronghold of beginning it is from within that I emerge in the moment.
An attestment to expression and actions have developed my intellect as I endured downfalls of homelessness.
Rearing two children as a client of mental health has given power to the stance upon recovery. I have not been hospitalized in four or so years even though BiPolar is still my diagnosis.

Hello bp I was not aware of your publication but am glad I found it. I have been stricken with the diease since childhood and have experienced an off trak life to say the least. But one day at a time by the grace of god go I. It is nice to see a magazine that is from our perspective for a change. I would possibly like to write an article for your magazine and need to know the editors contact info. I believe I would have much to contribute to the magazine. Please email it to me if you can.
